This very large serving dish can easily handle a large roast or two chickens and plenty of gravy. It is  hand carved and covered in a fall- gold color glaze which is wiped back on the outer surface to reveal the carvings. There are tiny cracks near where the handles are attached. This will not affect the functioning or the lifespan of the dish, but for this reason, the product is discounted.
